Module Description

This module will teach students how to develop and manage creative projects in a not for profit environment. We’ll consider the 5 stages of project management and how to bring a creative idea from the ideation stage, through development, implementation and evaluation. We’ll discuss how to develop sustainable, indispensable creative projects and specifically address the importance of environmental scanning, stakeholder management and how to manage risk. We’ll also discuss ways to inspire others and encourage collaboration to achieve impactful, positive and marketable projects. Students will be given the opportunity to work on a project idea and develop this idea ‘virtually’ through the 5 stages of project management, with guided support. This module has been specifically designed to stimulate and engage students while also providing ‘real life’ transferrable skills.
